should i go to the emergency room??! help..

i been having preg symptoms for a few days now, frequent urination, & dark veins are the main ones. took an equate hpt & it was negative. last pd was dec 26th. & today im really not well, bad cramps & sick to my stomach.. last night i had a wave of nausea & bad chills.. i felt like i was freezing, i was actually trembling! & today i feel hot. but im not running afever. would the er be able to tell me if im preg even if it is too early for a hpt? please dont read & run.. i need advice! thanks girls

i dont know what to suggest hun? i mean the symtoms do point to pregnancy have you been the doctors yet to have a blood tests ive heard some woman take hpts and are negetive till they are 6 months along so theres definatly hope!! xxx

Not sure if your US or UK hun, but here in the UK we have a primary care number or NHS line, they can give you advice and would assess whether you need to go. If your US do you hav anything similar? By ER I would assume your US lol.

I would ring NHS direct if that is available to you or ring the doctors, I personally wouldn't go to A&E but would see the doctor.

I would definitely call the doctor--if you question it, you should def. call for peace of mind. Maybe you're simply coming down with the flu?

im in the US.. and no i have not had a blood test but ive been taking hpts & theyve all been BFN. ive only had the frequent urination for about 3days & the dark veins for 2. how early can they tell with a blood test?

i dont think its the flu because i havent had a fever or any flu like symptoms really. i had terrible chills last night that lasted about 15mins & then went away but my temp was normal. is that a sign?

While the dark veins don't really apply, frequent urination could mean a UTI, which could explain the chills and nausea. That's not necessarily the case, though, so it's best to go to a doctor. Good luck!
