...... Ok let me start again.

I strongly believe I ovulated yesterday. Ive always thought I ovulate earlier than day 14 (of a 28 day cycle).

So I know I should ovulate on day 14 and after that day I would be '1dpo' but if I swear I ovulated yesterday should I count from today?

The reason I think I ov'ed early is because yesterday morning I had watery CM. Usually thats my only sign and only occasionally I have EWCM, but by the afternoon I was surprised to see EWCM. So obviously bded last night.

Can anyone help me?

I'm no expert but if you ov'd yesterday then today you would be 1dpo...do you temp, i'm only on my 2nd cycle of temping and last month I ov'd on cd14, this cycle looks like it was yesterday cd15, but need 3 elevated temps to confirm this, had all the symptoms of O yesterday, anyway maybe someone else can help you a bit better than me, hope its your month this month, FX'd for you.

I dont temp, but thank you for your reply. I think I count today as 1dpo too. I just wasnt sure what others would do.

I would count O day as the one where you had most ovulation signs. (So today would be 1 dpo).

It's just a myth that women should O on day 14 of a 28 day cycle..the fact is, many women O earlier or later than that..so its impossible to trust that "day 14" thing anymore!

I agree completely with peacelovebaby. Ovulation on CD 14 is a generalization. But you could possibly O +/- 2 days. When I O on CD 12, my cycle lasts for 26 days. When I O on CD 17, my cycle is 31 days long. So we try to BD starting from CD 10 to CD 18 just to cover all possible days. Even if I dont have a BFP yet, I think I know the ABCs of my reproductive system figured out
