Ovulation test Advice???

Hi all, Im expecting AF tomorrow, I can feel it in my bones....I ve been imagining symptoms for the last week and driving myself mad with every bfn Ive gotten.
Anyways OH came in from work today with a pressy for me, 2 packs of Clearblue Digi Ovulation tests a colleague had given him for me. Before this month (and joining on here) we havn't really been trying so hard and thought it would happen if it happens..anyways Im not 100% on my cycle length (used to be 28 days b4 my last child) I was wondering could I start testing in the 10-14 days right in the middle of my cycle? surely I would find the day this way? Can anybody give me any advice on whens the best time to use them etc..?
TY in advance

Well, you need your AF to come first before testing with these things!
You need to look for fertile signs, EWCM etc .. Wilko's do 2 OPK for £1.99 so use them for a while until you get a second line, then as they get darker, use your digi ones, dont want to waste your expensive ones!
Ovulation normally happens around 14 days after AF .. so use the cheapie ones about day 10-12 .. im not an expert on this, but i've tried to help

Thankyou Alice...Ive been looking on ebay at the cheapys and was wondering if they are any good? So, just to clarify..I need the ones with the line, like a Pt from 10-12 until I get a dark line then use digi for the smiley face?....Gosh, its all quite confusing, but Im willing to have a go.
I m going to look up EWCM now (not up on the lingo just yet) so I know what to look for..
Im also thinking of taking EPO until the smiley day as this can increase your chances, am I right?
Gosh, you wouldn't beleive Ive got 3 children would you..I sound a complete novice!

Yep you have it all right honey!
EWCM is egg white CM, so when you break an egg, you know that slippery stuff .. it's like that! And a high, open, soft cervix also is a sign of impending ovulation! Do a search into google or b&b, that may help xxxx

I use the digi ones every month - as I would drive myslef mad looking for lines that werent there so prefer a smiley face!
I have a 28-30 day cycle - so usually start using the digis at CD12 - usually use about three a month - as as soon as you get a smiley face then you dont need to test again. They are expensive but as they have seven sticks in a pack they usually last me at least two months.
I am always regular and get the other signs as well such as EWCM and ovulation pains - but I always like to know the exact date as then I can predict when AF is coming so that I dont get myself in a tizz if I have a 30 days cycle rather than a 28 - as those extra two days are like torture if I am not expecting them.

I really like the digis and have always found them reliable.

I do use first thing in the morning wee though - which other girls on here have recomemended not to - but I pee ALL the time (if I ever do manage to get a bfp I honestly am going to be on the loo permanently) - so thats the best time for me as I just couldnt hold it for 4 hours. But i have never had any probs using early morning wee as the sticks are always right (cos they coincide with my other signs and 14 days later AF shows up).

Hope this helps. Hope they get you your BFP this month.
