From what I've read on various medical sites, the CP is not the most reliable method of determining a positive pregnancy. The CP changes throughout the day (as I myself have learnt) - so it can be low one minute, and be high only hours later, only to drop back low again. That can send the average TTC'er crazy.
If you check, always check the same time of the day - don't check more than once (hard as that is, I know) - and make sure to note the texture, is it slippery or dry? Dry is a sign of AF, but slippery is a good sign.
Also note, that some women who are pregnant don't get the rise in the cervix until well after they get a BFP, so even if it's still low - there is a chance you're still pregnant.
