Great idea for a thread!

Ok heres me...

-Does he(or she for the same sex couples) know you use BnB?
Yes he does now, he doesnt really 'get it' though.

-Use Ov sticks?
He found out when they arrived in the post and wasnt really interested, he sees all that as 'pressure' and prefers to leave all that to nature. I dont use em any more though.

-Know you POAS as often as you do?
Lol, no way! He would think i was insane. I tell him if i'm late, have symptoms and am convinced it mght be a BFP and do one test ...but the 50 million others I keep to myself.

-Know you have a collection of tests all ready and waiting?
Nope, I keep them hidden in my bottom drawer.

-Know you check your CM?
Haha, no way. He would see that as completely over obsessive so i keep that to myself too.

-Know you temp?
I havent yet.

-Know you symptom spot as much as you do?
Yeah unfortunately he gets all sorts like me announcing quite happily if i feel nausea or sore BBs lol. If I'm smiling and mention it every five mins he knows i'm symptom spotting. He hates it though, he just says to not think about it and wait till im late and do a test.

Saying all that...he does want a baby as much as i do but he hates pressure, the science of it and prefers to leave it all up to fate. So after six months of me running around peeing on sticks and demanding BD on certain days (or else lol) I have taken his advice and gone on to NTNP. Just to see if it makes any difference.

Is soooo hard not to think of when i might be OV.... Might take my ticker off my sig i think...

My husband knows pretty much everything haha!

This is hubby and me pretty much exactly!

BnB = Baby & Bump?
He knows about this... he reads over my shoulder half the time.
He's always curious about anything that takes my attention away from him.

He doesn't see the appeal, but I tell him I'm "networking".

I don't do any of that other stuff except check CM.
We just had an interesting conversation about that today, in fact.
He picked me up from work and I was telling him I think I'm 2 dpo, but it's weird because I'm still having a lot of watery CM (although I say "discharge" because he doesn't know what CM means and it sounds weird when you try to explain it).
And he was like, "What, do you sit around all day at work with your hands down your pants or something?"



And I told him no, I just check it every time I go to the bathroom.

If I ever do start using a lot of tests, I probably will have to hide it from him, because I'm sure he'd object to me spending the money on them.
We already spend far more than we can afford on my grown sons, helping them get set up. They borrow money almost every month.

Overall, I like to be open with my OH about everything having to do with ttc, symptoms, etc... but there's only so much he wants to hear before I sense that he's tuning me out.

Excellent thread! I'm pleasantly surprised to hear so many of you have such supporting partners who are willing to hear all the gory details! Mine is more like angel_dust's OH, likes to think it will all happen natually, but me being a scientist by heart love the sciency bit!

-Use Ov sticks? Don't think he knows this sort of thing even exists!
-Know you POAS as often as you do? No, I only plan to tell him when I get by BFP!
-Know you have a collection of tests all ready and waiting? Not sure, I reckon if he thought about it he'd know that this is something I would do
-Know you check your CM? No! He'd find it very gross, either that or sexy! Although I don't check much really.
-Know you temp? Yes, bit difficult to hide this from him, passed it off by telling him it would help me to know if my cycles were returningt o a regular pattern following BCP. Little does he know I went back to a regular pattern straight away!
-Know you symptom spot as much as you do? Nope, it's all in my head! Although if I happen to mention something innocently, he immediately says 'so are you pregnant then?', to which I always reply 'maybe baby' if in 2ww or 'no' if not.

My OH is strange. although probably quite normal for a bloke, he wants a baby and points out cute kids in the street to me all the time, but if you get ito a serious conversation about it, he gets the fear! He prefers things to be left unsaid... fine by me! I have my BnB friends to talk that stuff through with!

My hubby knew everything when we were ttc. I'm a very communicative person in a relationship. If I'm going through something serious I make sure my partner knows about it lol. He checked my chart everyday. He checked my CP (because I have long nails!) When it came to pregnancy testing HE actually reads the tests first. I find its a good way of getting your man involved, as they don't really have much input normally untill baby is born. Any way I can get hubby involved - I do it. He's thankful for it.

but he also knows where my cycles are at and he knows when im coming up to O time he doesnt mind knowing all this information i think that it helps him acctually.

My husband is very involved in the whole TTC process, and is very empathetic with these issues (especially when we get negatives) and because of my endometriosis he has become more interested in things.
