Cramp question..

I get cramps both with AF and with Ovulation, as I have been reading lots of you do too.. I havent started charting yet, so I am not 100% sure on my ovulation day each month. I want to have this down by the time I am TTC, so I just wanted some of your experienced advice..

When you DO get Ovulation cramps, how soon after does ovulation occur? Or are the cramps part of the O process right then? What I'm saying is, if you are cramping, does that mean you are Ovulating??

I know there are several experts out there, thanks in advance for your help on this

Hi Runnergrl, I'm not a cramping expert and someone can probably answer much better than me - but I think ovulation pain is when the egg breaks out - so will be when you actually ovulate as opposed to before.

I get various pains throughout the cycle, so I use OPKs to find out when I'm about to ovulate and then chart temps so I know when I have ovulated for definite...

Well at least by the time you come to TTC you will know your cycles, I wish I'd got to know mine before TTC! x x x

hi ladies, i for the 1st time ever had cramps whilst O. well i got it whislt BD and straight after for hours, they got really bad. im a lil unsure on it too.

Hello lovley lady, nice to see you in here again, wont be long now and you will be back in here for good!

Mine can be anywhere from the day before and the day of O, or sometimes I just get the pain on O day, some cycles it seems to just be limited to a few hours, like you could also pinpoint a time when it happened.

...a little nervous. I think I O'ed on CD15 due to the cramping and we BD on CD17 thinking we were in the clear. Starting to think maybe we werent.

I'm on CD32 now.. and dont have a normal cycle yet. 3 months off BCP.
