Ovulation Test Advice

I was considering getting an ovulation test. I'm really not sure though as they are pretty expensive.
Does anyone think they are worth it or shoud I just make sure I BD around my predicted OV days?

(did say I was going to chill with th TTC obsession, but I just cant help it)
