we have been ttc number 3 now for 6 moinths i have never had probs concieving b4 what the hell going on grrr i came off teh jab 6 mintsh ago as in was due six months ago and not even had spotting any sujestions to get it up and going agai goign out of my mnd here

I'm sorry hun. I was on depo for a while and it messed me up. It can take up to a year to get out of your system so maybe that is why it's not happened yet?

I only had one jab of the depo in april09 and i have only just got my periods back if i was you id go to the docs and ask for some blood tests to check your levels i had some done and my progesterone came bk at 1.5 so thats why i wasnt having a period havent had anymore done as of yet got to go in on the 22nd for some cd21 bloods to see if im ovulating that bloody depo is pure evil

Yeah, I'm also ttc #3. I conceived the first two easily, but you know what they say... it can take six months to a year, even if nothing's wrong.
And I'm 37, so for me it's likely to take longer.

I know it's hard to wait! On the other hand, I'm still enjoying the ttc effort... but ask me in another two months or so. I'm sure I'll be damned sick of it, and just ready to get my BFP!

There is nothing medically wrong with me or my DH but it took us 17 months to conceive no.2. I was 35 when I got my second bfp. Sorry to say this, it's horribly frustrasting, but sometimes you just have to wait it out

That depo shot is pure evil, even on their own web site they say it can take up to 18 months for anything to happen. Hopefully your cycle returns much quicker than that for you hun!

hi im in the same boat as you mummyof2 i had my last depo jab back in june 09 finished in late aug 09 had my first af sept had them everymonth since and now ttc #3 but getting no luck with my other 2 children dd 10yrs and ds 3yrs i was on the depo before them came off about 6mths before i fell for them but i wasnt ttc them and i was on the pill with both
my afs at the mo have been regular about every 25-28 days but they not lasting more than 4 days this one has only now lasted 2 1/2 days so i know where you are coming from

i ad my 1st af 25th feb 2 week later abothe rone then noting for 5 week was convinced i ws preag but nasty cow came and got me again today :S grrr
