| Mum (Mom) Active BnB Member Join Date: Dec 2009 Posts: 241 | Aspirin - anyone been prescribed it? Hi everyone I wondered if anyone else had been advised aspirin - a junior dose of 75mg daily whilst trying to conceive? I have experienced four mcs of differing types. My DH and I have had all blood & chromosone testing completed which came back clear so our consultant has said to try this whilst TTC - it may have some effect. I wondered if anyone else has tried this under medical supervision and what happened to them. Thanks for your help in advance and good luck to all those TTC  |

| On a break (TTC) Active BnB Member  Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Northern Ireland Posts: 223 | Hi Yeah I have been given aspirin 75mg by my doctor about six months to help TTC. Still here though  We had all the same tests and everything came back fine too but to be honest I really dont know what it is meant to do. Wish I could help you a bit more maybe someone can give us both the answer X |

From my understanding, aspiring thins the blood. My consultants theory is that each time I have mc the baby has just stopped growing and died. He thinks the blood supply to the embryo etc is compromised and if the blood is thinner it will make it down to the little capillaries and to the embryo? Just wondered if anyone had had any success with this. Hopefully it will work for us both eventually | |
