Say I can stop the BDathlon safely please? :)

***X-posted from my Journal but I warned you ladies I needed an answer fast and I gave you almost 10 minutes to answer!!!!***

"Very short recap:
CD 5 to 14 - BD to insanity
CD 11 and 13 positive OPK
CD 13 - O cramps
CD 15 - O confirmed by doc over the past day or two
PreSeed, Vitamins, Folic, etc

H-okay I'm flipping again. GEEZ! This is what? The third or the fourth day in a row when I start the morning with "Yah, done BDing, life is beautiful!" gradually get to "Hmmm shouldn't we try just one last time tonight for the sake of certainty?" and end the day with "Feck I need these Volvos out of the way NOW, I NEED to get home and jump him STAT!"

I've consulted with the mister and he claims he is positive I Oed yesterday as the doc said, and we BDed "for certainty last night" so there's zero point tonight as even if I Oed today new swimmers won't do and only last night's would "be there" and that applies to even if I O tomorrow instead. I think he's just trying to talk his ahem out of falling. (If you vote for tonight too please keep in mind that he is alive by sheer miracle after the BDathlon and last night it took us 4 hours and a half to reach destination so tonight may not even be possible)

What do you ladies think, will we regret it in 11 days if we didn't tonight as well or is this really silly now despite the lack of temperature? You'd all best answer here or I'm posting this as an independent thread!!!"

Leave him alone!!!
Surely skipping one day (and you did do it late last night/morning!) would be ok!

I only did it every other day and at the end of the BDathon we were buggered and just jacked it in and I had no idea if I'd O'd!!! Dont do it again unless you both want to - you're going to cross the line in to mechanical baby making sex and if you can avoid that you should. Just do it when you fancy it now.

I'd say sod it and go for it tonight too..just to be sure heh!
Then have a rest of a day or two. you should have caught that eggy but it help's to let a few more swimmer's loose in there. There may be some linford christie type's in the next batch...who know's!
Good luck chicken. Don your attire for evening and go for it i say!!

Well that's us sorted then. I called to pitch him about tonight and he was excited about the prospect but then we ended up having a major row about something unconnected, namely he's behaved like a single ash-hooole not like my OH on something. So we're off for tonight.

If nothing else it will give me someone to blame when I see the BFNs

really hard to say, hun, i am in the same situation (DH turned me down for BDing last night because he was tired i guess we DID do it in the afternoon, so 2x in 1 day was way too much hahaha)

i say you should be good to go but hard to say if you wont regret it after the TWW...as i am always ok after ovulation passes but come AF time, i doubt it and think back "i should harve done it on CD13" (etc)

it's so hard and i probably wasn't any help at all. i'm sorry fingers crossed for you that ya'll caught the eggy!!

I agree with Merv's Mum. Anyways, the most chance of conceiving is the 5 days BEFORE ovulation so as long as u got a few sessions in before, you'll be fine.

Anyways, sorry about the argument hon. Men hey?! x
