I'm Currently Feeling: | I've had one session of reflexology so far, and the therapist recommended I have it done once a month, roughly a week into my cycle to get the full benefit from the treatment. It stimulates the ovaries and gives them a bit of a boost, but if you get the timing wrong it can be quite sore, and it may be counterproductive. I went last month on CD3 and the areas of my feet that are connected to the ovaries and uterus, were a little tender, but that was due to AF apparently.
My session was £25. Once a month I'm happy to spend it, as I would spend more than that on a massage anyhow. And there's no herbs afterwards which sound sooo expensive.
Hope that helps.

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hey pixie, how did you get on? I would agree it certainly can't do any harm. How did you find your reflexologist?
I emailed the one you suggested AG but the email I got back didn't have a fertility slant on it which made me think it was a stock reply rather than tailored. Not sure if that's a good thing or not. I've emailed another practitioner from the Association of Reflexologists who lists fertility as a speciality so I'll let you know how that goes. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi girls, just thought I'd share my experience of reflexology. I had reflexology in feb/march every week for 3 weeks, starting at the beginning of my cycle and got a BFP, sadly it wasn't meant to be but I really think it was the reflexology which helped things along coupled with first month of using a CBFM. It was so relaxing and so intriguing the things they can tell you. It is quite expensive but would recommend you give it a go if you can afford it.
GOOD LUCK

| Hi Nic,
I had reflexology recently to aid conception and got my BFP after a few sessions! I think it was because I was much more relaxed and not focussing on ttc too much!
Even if it didn't contribute directly, it def made me feel more positive and relaxed! I'd recommend it!
Enjoy xx |
