OMG, I got a smiley face with my OV stick. This means that I ovulate pretty late in my cycle (or this is a one-off) so gals, can I ask a few things which I hope people can answer:

1) Does this mean I am due to ovulate in the next 24 hours?
2) But my CM has gone a bit dry, no more EWCM. Surely when you’re about to OV, your CM should be at its most copious? I thought I O’d a coupla days ago as had major major EWCM.
3) Maybe this means that actually, BDing yesterday was the best time as had EWCM and OVing imminent?
4) Just texted hubby, saying ‘OMG, I got a smiley face. Get your pants off and get ready for some hide the sausage after work’ and he just texted saying he’s not sure he can cos he’s still hurting ‘down there’ from last night. Which leads me neatly onto …
5) If we don’t BD tonight, will BDing last night be enough? Or ought we try to tonight or tomorrow am?

And finally, I have a 28-day cycle. If I OV on CD17-18, does this leave enough time for the embryo to imbed (but SO sure I O’d yesterday or Wedn, me confused)?

well I've nearly totally given up on the ov sticks because they were pretty inconsistent with my ewcm so who knows! As for implantation, I've heard 10 days is the min but I'm hard pressed to figure out exactly when I ovulate and as you say, yours may have been a couple of days ago...

I reckon see how DH is when he gets home, if he's packing injuries from last night, the option might not be there anyway - you don't want to do any permanent damage!

He's sore!!!!! Get the lube out 'slip and slide'. However, BDing every other day will be enough.
I would trust your insticts with regards to CM and any other symptoms.

Nice! my OV sticks directions say when you get a positive its like a 24-36 hour window. last night BD is good, as long as environment is good and sperm survives when the egg drops. hope your OH is in the mood when he comes home sometimes my DH will say he's too tired etc etc but somehow i still manage to get him in the mood. i don't think a guy can REALLY TRULY resist it

Ha ha, me saying he's still sore suggests I am a proper dominatrix!!! He does get a bit sore, the poor boy (god, he'd DIE if he saw me posting this) so he does well to manage every other day. Wish I had some pre-seed now cos would be slapping that on his sausage (o dear, get a grip love).

Am worried I O too late now. But all the O signs were there a coupla days ago. Hey, mebbe I O twice - twins!!!! Cos I got sore bbs on Sunday and Monday and have them again now.

Thing is, if I did O a coupla days ago, why on earth am I getting a positive now? It MUST mean I'm about to O. God, how frustrating. It also explains why I haven't fallen PG yet as we don't tend to BD as much this late.

I hope he's waiting for me at home, nekked with a morphine drip attached to his arm. ANYTHING to get me a baby lamb, for chrissakes!!!!!!!! x

Hey hun, can't offer much advice, but treat him tenderly and I'm sure you can persuade him !! Sometimes the OPK sticks can be off, I got EWCM on CD9/10 but didn't get a positive stick till CD12 so who knows?? I'm beginning to thing EWCM occurs before O and not at O but I'm just confused by the whole blooming thing!! Just have good ol fashioned rumpy and enjoy it!!!!

Thanks gals, we're gonna BD tomorrow am as he is real sore. He was really upset but said he's mega tender and won't physically be able to. Anyway, I had loads of EWCM yesterday and we BD'd then so think we're in with a chance from last night anyway but will seal the deal tomorrow am. I read that the best time to BD is when u get loadsa EWCM, which we did. x
