Exercise when TTC

I really need some advice girls.....

This is my first month of TTC after my mc, i have had one real period since mc and well now i stand at 4DPO, i have bd loads so we shall have to see.

But my main question is how many of you exercise alot?

I am a trained dancer and only stopped since one year, since finding out i was pg last October i haven t really did any exercise cis i didn t want to pull anything etc.

Still after my MC in Jan, it was quite ongoing and was finished and end of Feb so my incentive for exercise hasn t been top thing on my mind, cos i m naturally slim.

But i do feel like i am paranoid this month to get back to normal self as in loving the gym i m afraid i might pull or strain something.

i know its stupid but does anyone else have that guilty feeling?

I want to go with the flow, but i m thinking no i cannot go on my leg magic .... incase theres something going on in there

When i had MC in Feb I had just done a Salsacise class and the cramps started - i felt really guilty thinking it was something to do with the class. Apparently you can continue with what you normally do and should take some sort of exercise as it can make labour easier. You shoudn't take up new stuff unless it is suitable such as yoga.

My best friend is an exercise freak and she has a 2month old healthy baby girl!

Thanks Tansey.. your friend sounds like me. Well i m not obessive but i really love keeping fit and feeling good.

But normally in my exercise routine i do alot of work on the abs, so thats why i just dare not do anything.

I have decided that if i don't get a this month the tww up until OV i will exercise like crazy then tww after ov i will be a chill bill and only do light stuff. lol

This is something I had worried about too as I try to go to the gym 3 times a week. I think as long as you continue what you have been doing and are sensible about it, it should be fine but don't start a new exercise regime. There is something about not overheating in the first trimester but I can't say I work hard enough at the gym for that to be too much of a problem!! I'm off for a legs bums and tums class in an hour so I think it's fine.

Lets face it, women in the past and still now do very hard physical jobs while pregnant, I doubt a little gym work will be a problem!
