Hmmm... question.

Here's my story up until now:

Hi there :)

So, AF came and went (she turned up a day early and was very light, despite hanging around an extra day!) And I started getting stuff together for my TTC journey. Got my vitamins yesterday, and ordered a load of internet cheapy HPTs, which arrived this morning.

Of course, being a complete POAS addict already, I *had* to pee on one with this morning's FMU. I waited 2 minutes, it was negative, as expected (I'm only on CD7! lol) and then I read through the little leaflet I got with them. Realised I should have read it after 5 minutes, not 2, and took it back out the bin. This may have been about 7-10 mins after first peeing on it. There was a very *very* faint positive. Could it be an evap line after this amount of time? It's now fading away, and I can barely see it at all.

So, questions: How soon do evap lines show? And also, is it possible to have a withdrawal bleed whilst still being pregnant?

I may be grasping at straws here, but it's worth checking out!

Ooh, also, for the past 2 days, I've had mega blue veins on my boobs. I'll test again in 2 days anyway, but I reckon it was an evap...

I would buy a more expensive test lovely if you can. Or go to your doctors.

Let us know how you get on.

Good luck.

I'll try with a cheapie again in a couple of days. If it's the same, I'll go buy a more expensive one. Not got my hopes up though!

You symptoms sound right lovely and as you missed some pills, this will probably has messed up your cycle a bit.

To have blue veins in your boobs at CD7 is very early. I have them now at CD21!

Good luck testing. x

I read somewhere that evap lines aren't teh same colour as the test should be - so if it is blue or pink, then it is a positive. The article said that evap lines look like a shadow or a ghost line but are NEVER the same colour as the test. Not sure how true this is, but hope it helps.
Good luck.

pee on a stick website I went to was very informative. You might try to google it. Can't remember sites exact address, I think www.peeonastick.com. I'm sure someone here can confirm. There's loads of info on POAS from HTP to OPK and even little experiments. Good luck to you.

I know, it's very odd. They're definitely very prominent though, weird.

I'm pretty certain it was an evap. It was pink, the same colour as the control line, but verrrryyy light.

Anyway, as I said, I'll test again in a couple of days (and check out the pee on a stick website. I've been there before, but will have another nosy) but I'm not expecting a bfp just yet. The fact that AF showed up, whether it was just a withdrawal bleed or not, is leading me to believe I'm in for a bfn.

What am I like.. POAS addict and I've only just started TTC

*edit* My test looks like the 12DPO test on this page: http://www.peeonastick.com/hpt/smartstrip.html

Hi,

my breasts went really tender after I'd stopped taking the BCP - (did the same as you, wasn't taking it properly (think my subconscious played a part there!) and got all messed up with them then decided with OH that we would TTC instead of waiting a few months while he got a course finished! ) - they also got bigger (have increased at least a cup size since I stopped).

I thought I might be pregnant because of the breast thing but wasn't.

I'm not saying you're not pregnant, just wanted to reassure if you're not that the breast thing isn't just you!!! I didn't have all the other symptoms you're having.

Fingers crossed you get a BFP really soon and you pass through the different forums in record time

x
