erm.. I now this might be a silly question, but does the egg have to be fertilised before it reaches the womb,or can it happen for example if it had reached the womb and bd the day before af arrives could you still get pregnant?
I think in the wonderful world of our bodies anything is possible but it would be extremely unusual to get pg from BD the day before AF.
The egg is released when you ovulate and there is a usually a 14 day lapse from then till when you get your period. The egg only survives about 24 after it is released and that's when its available to fertilised. It then travels down the tubes and if its fertilised it will attempt to implant in the womb. If it does this your HCG (pregnancy hormones) start to increase and that's what a pregnancy test measures. If it isn't fertile of can't implant for some reason the egg disintegrates and you shed the lining of the womb in the form of menstrual blood.
Sorry if you knew all this but it's just better than saying 'no, it would be almost impossible to get pg the day before your period'

ttc messes with your brain! We all know what its like. As I said with woman's bodies you can never tell but it would be unlikely. Don't worry I'm hoping that a BD on CD9 was enough for me when I didn't O till CD13 which would be a minor miracle, so we all do it!!
