hi everyone

im just wondering, after being on the combined pill for years i was changed to the mini pill in feb after having bad migraines. i had my migraine on the wed and thought it was to do with my pill so i stopped taking it and made an appointment for the friday, so when i went to the doc i had already missed 2 pills, anyway i was put on the mini pill cerazette and was told to start it that day, a am now wondering if i told the doc that i had missed the two pills because from reading up on this pill it says to take it on the first day of your period or if switiching pills take it the next day, i am wondering if i would have had the proper protection.
when i first started the cerazette about a week later i had a light period - this was only about a week and a half after my normal period and i havent had a period since then. i really wish when i was at the docs i asked more questions i have only just found out that this pill can stop your period but when i didnt get my period at the end of march i stopped taking the pill as it said if you suspeted you were pregnant to stop immediatly. i now dont know what to do as i still suspect a may be pregnant (i plan to test tommorrow) but if im not i need to start taking my pill again does anyone know if it is ok to just start taking my pill again its just that if the reason i havnt had my period is beause of the pill i dont know when it will start again

p.s can the pill cause pregancy symptoms - i have nausea, sore breasts, really bloated. for the last two weeks i have had mild cramping like just before a period but nothing has appeared

The pill can cause you to have pg symptoms as its "tricking" your body into thinking it already is.

The only thing i can think of to suggest is stay off the pill and use condoms untill you have a bleed and then start the pill as normal. This way you can see if youre pg or not aswell.
