Red face

Newbie - trying IVF for first time

Hello all,
I have just signed up to this forum and not sure what really to expect having never joined a blog\forum before!

I'm 42 and have been trying to get pregnant now for over 3 years, tried Chlomid but this didn't work so we're having ONE attempt at IVF. Only ONE attempt because that's our decision to not get obsessed by it and also as we have to pay for it also!

We're just waiting for blood test results to come back and then I can order the drugs and we can start the treatment on my next cycle which will be around the beginning of May.
Just wondered if there was any advice out there for new IVF starters.

Jan

Hiya

I don't have any advice I'm afraid, but I would like you wish you all the luck in the world. There is bound to be someone here who has been through IVF, or is about to embark on that journey too. You'll find lots of support on this forum and I really hope you have a happy announcement in a couple of months.

Good luck

xx

Welcome to the forum. No advice for you really as I haven't been through that myself but I'm sure some of the other girls will be able to help you out. You may also want to post a thread in the Problems Trying to Conceive area of the forum, might get more responses there.

Hi Sorry I don't have any advice about IVF either but just wanted you to know that you can talk about anything on here and I'm sure there'll be at least 1 person in your situation.
Good luck
