panic attacks over pregnancy


me and my husband have been ttc for over 2 years! i got pregnant once but it ended in miscarriage! i really want to start a family but every time i think oh i am pregnant bam a panic attack hits me like maybe i cant do it what if something happens. ahhh i have had panic attacks for 11 years! has anyone else been pregnant with panic attacks?

Yeah, I have anxiety issues and panic attacks too.
I had them even back when I was pregnant with my kids, many many years ago (although not quite as bad as I have them now).
If you've had panic attacks for eleven years, then you're probably pretty used to them.
They won't stop you from conceiving, they won't hurt your pregnancy, and if you weren't panicking over pregnancy, there'd be some other catalyst.
So my advice is, go ahead and ignore the panic as best you can, and keep ttc.
Pregnancy and delivery are actually very empowering... although once you've got a kid, then the panic will really kick in.
But don't worry about that for now. First things first.

I've had them before.. they're awful. But I found that if you try to take your mind off of whatever caused it and focus on something else.. it helps a bit. sorry you're having to deal with them. They're no fun! There are also breathing techniques, etc.. you can do to make them go away. Google it
