Hi everyone,

I am just wondering whether anyone has been pregnant but had negative test results?

I came off the pill in December and have been having regular cycles since. Until this month - I was due on 1st April but nothing yet. I have done several pts now and they've all been ng. I've been having terrible cramping, slight nausea, tender breasts. I already have a 21/2 year old son so know how it feels to be pg and until I did the tests I was convinced I was.

I rang the docs, but haven't got an appointment until 23rd April. Can't stand the waiting to find out what's going on.

Also, a psychic was at my friends house last night and she told me that I was pregnant. Not a reliable source I know, but she told me all about the birth of my first son and she was spot on.

Don't know what to think. Has anyone been through this or could shed any light on what could actually be going on if I'm not pg? Your advice would be much appreciated!

I would get on the phone and see if the doctors have had a cancellation. I am very good and being persistant - I am not very good at being patient.

It is absolutely possible to be pregnant with a negative result, I had negative results for a week until became positive. Try another test in a week? It could bet that HCG levels are too low to show in the tests yet.

My period was due 3rd of this month, and it still hasn't shown up...On sunday night i took a test and it was positive, then monday i took 4 tests only 1 out of all of the was positive, the rest was negative. I took another two yesterday and they were also negative. I'd say it is possible to get a wrong negative when you are pregnant. I've also been told by a phsycic that i'm going to have a baby but i'm stuck in limbo not knowing what to believe. I'm in at doctors on thursday. I hope you get the outcome you want!!

I hate the not knowing part - you're lucky if you've already had a positive - you're probably def pg.

We ttc for 2 years with my son and he showed a positive the day after I was due, so it just baffles me that there is nothing now. During ttc last time there were loads of times I thought I was but wasn't so finding this really hard at the mo.

Think I will give it until Fri and if nothing happens I'll ring the docs again to get in earlier. I'll go mad if I have to wait til the end of the month for answers.

Feeling quite sick at the mo - could have something to do with the left over easter eggs my ds has been stuffing me with all morning! LOL!

i know what you are saying i took a pg test this morning it was neg but i have had all the sign that say i am so yes i think it is posable.

It's definitely possible - that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Seriously though, it's not over until shows up. It's possible that you Ov'd later than you thought so if you are pregnant, you might not be as far along as you think. With my son the HPT showed positive on 11DPO so I'm thoroughly annoyed that I keep getting negative tests! (Of course the thought that I might NOT be preggers has not entered my mind! ) is due tomorrow so we'll see!

It's certainly possible to get negative results and still be pregnant. Hopefully you can get into the doctors sooner and get a blood test done so you'll know one way or the other for certain! Good luck!

yep my line was really faint for ages and it wasnt until say 1-2 later it was strong and really easy to see

Thanks for your support guys - still as confused as ever.

Thought af showed up on mon, but was very light and I'm usually quite heavy. Stopped yesterday and I've had a few more spots today,but no usual af pains. I'm wondering whether it could be IB and I OV'd later this cycle. Or my body is just being cruel and messing with my head!
