Period pains but no period - a good sign???

Hi ladies,

Just wondering if anyone has had this before getting a BFP - my period was due yesterday and hasn't come yet, not necessarily weird in itself as is often a few days late, but have had 2 days of sharp pains in my lower abdomen - similar to period pains but with a throbbing pulsating sensation. I've never had a period before where the pains have started before the period itself - so naturally my mind is going into overdrive!

My partner is away all weekend so I'm not going to test until he's back (if I can hold on that long!!), just wondering if I'm being silly or if this could be a good sign?? I have no idea!

Any advice/experiences much appreciated!
Thanks, PP

Sounds promising Try not to get your hopes up though hun, may just be your body changing, it does that as you get older. My periods have changed loads over the years and I'm only 31. Wishing you all the best though
