i did a HPT last night (not sure when im due on) and it was negative, i only tested because i felt so sick and my boobs are killing me.
I thought i would be sensible and test with FMU today. i did test was neg and off i trotted to work!!!!
I came home from work to the test still sitting on my bathroom shelf, it had a line, i got all excited even though deep down i thought it was just an evap line. so i tested again there and then and it was neg but within 30 mins there is a very very faint line. i have tried taking pics but its not working. im very scared and excited but think deep down should i know that its a negative results and just me wishing for it to be more than that?
Please help any advice is welcome.

HI - you could be! Depends what test you have got and what the time frame is. You're not supposed to read them after the alloted time -it will only lead to disappointment. Do another one in the morning. Have you got a digital test?
First things first, Check the expiration time on the package. If it says you must read it in five minutes, there is a reason for that. The more time a chemical can react, not the likelier its there in the right amount, the liklier its there. Sooo...saying that, if it says its no longer valid after a certain amount of time, its the sensitivity that the lab rats decided was correct and accurate. It is unfortuntely possible to get a nice dark line when you are not pg just by leaving it out. Sorry to put the news bluntly, but that might be what has happened. But, like the ladies said, be sure and test again! And for your sake, I really hope you get your bfp! gl and babydust, lots of it!
i agree about getting a digital...maybe leave it for a few days and then test? if it's a line and not an evap could be there's not enough hcg in your system to register? lots of luck, fingers crossed it turns out to be a definite bfp for you!
