i think they said that you should wait until 12DPO before testing - but i would try and wait until after AF is due if you can - i know that is easier said than done!! Good luck hun!

It is best to test when you are late IF you can wait as it can lead to disappointment. Easier said than done - many of us are POAS addicts and cannot wait so you could start 10DPO or in rare cases 8DPO. Good luck

Depends on your luteal phase, if youre a normal 14 days then id say 12dpo onwards.
In my case i have a 12 day LP so 10dpo onwards.

Not TTC'ing as yet but WTTC. Just that my bubs are a bit sore and I am a grumpy old sod, eat loads of carbs, pee alot and tired at stupido times of day.

Probably nothing but will do like you all said and wait. All this HPT/OV/BFP talk drives you crazy.

Thanks for your replies though.

Arrgh right. I am only DPO 4. (still getting used to the abbs) so it could be just the transition between OV and CD1.

But I had quite a strange bleed last time. Not to be too crude but it was more pink for about 1 1/2 days and not the deep red that I normally have for 3 days.

As all this is new to me, how long and how heavy is the implantation bleeding??

Am I asking really stupid questions??? You can say yes I won't be offended.

you aren't asking stupid questions at all!!! Dont be worried about that!

as far as I know from reading on here, implantation bleeding is like spotting when you wipe, but i'm sure others will have experiences that they can share with you!

i had implantation bleeding with my little girl and it was literally some brown cm in my pants one day - a little pink when i wiped, and i thought AF was coming early. But then it vanished and when i found out i was pg i mentioned it to the docs and he said that it must've been implantation. Didn';t have it with my first though.
have you tested?
