Help i have been trying for a baby for 2 years despite having 3 children and getting caught very quickly ! i have had the blood tests and it came back that i am borderline whether i am ovulating as its hard to get an exact true result as my periods are very irregular ! i am 37 and am desperate so i bought some of the fertomid/clomid from the usa but i dont know when to take them ! i do know the risks and i am prepared to take the risks as i am desperate but dont have the money for specialists( have asked my gp to prescribe but wont altho my friends gp has done and shes 45 !!) please help me as i feel time is running out x

One of the girls who take clomid should be able to help you better.
I wouldnt reccomend clomid without being watched by a doctor because of the risks, but if you still feel you need to do it please read up on Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. This is one of the biggest thing they keep an eye on you for when taking clomid and it can be dangerous if not treated quickly.

I took my clomid from day 5-9, doc said for me with a longer cycle it will work wonders, but im on 100mg clomid (fertomid is the generic of clomid)

I took it cd3-7 and I was on 50mg. Please be carefull, how many mg. are you plan on taking? You really have to be careful; not to get OHS you could get very sick and end up in the hospital. Best of luck to you.

I did this (ordered them) & really didn't have the balls to do it nomatter how desperate I was for my LO to stick. It really is not recommended without your doctors observation.

Thanks to all who replied just one more thing if im taking 50mg on day 5-9 then when is it best to make love ?? and i do know there are risks and i will be at the docs if i get any of the symptoms .Dawn

My doc said you drink clomid from day 5-9, then Bding from day 12 to 18, but if you read the pamphlet inside the pack it explains that you can O anything from 5-10days after taking the last tablet of fertomid, so i would say from day 8-15.

When i started clomid, we Bding - CD5,6,7,8,9, rest CD10, Bding CD11,12,13,14,15 rest CD16, Bding CD17,18,19,20,21 got blood test on CD21 and results CD22 came back that i had not O'd, so personally think it is best to take the meds thru a gyni, as i was monitored and i didn't get my hopes up, as im 36days late, standing on CD64 today, and with new meds expecting AF CD77, so don't take taking fertomid(clomid) lightly as i had all the side affects from the meds
