When to BD?

If I get a positive on an ovulation test tomorrow (wednesday) could I still catch the egg if we BD on Thursday night?

I have been reading my ovulation predictor and it says that you get the positive with the LH surge, which is usually the 24 hours BEFORE you ovulate, so if your positive is tomorrow then you should actually ovulate on the Thursday, so it wouldnt be too late. (Going by what my ovulation kit says anyway. Hope this is of help).

You're best chance of catching the egg is by BDing 1-2 days before you ovulate. Not when you ovulate as the spermies need to already be in the right place to catch the egg. OV sticks catch a surge about 24-36 hours before you ovulate. So Thursday might be a teensy bit late but if that's the only time you can, no harm. x

Yep, you will usually get a positive opk around a day before you ovulate.

I bd (by accident) 2 days before I ovulated. I don't know if that helps you or not. One day before hand should be even better, so I don't think you'll have missed it.
