I only have slight spotting the first day then the next day maybe use 2 very small tampons and then it's gone?

Just wondered was I maybe low in something ie iron or vitamin b12 etc thats why my period is very light?

Also i know the eggy needs something nice to attach to so was concerned if Af was very little maybe lining was weak?

I don't think the heaviness or length of your period would cause any trouble, as long as your cycle were regular? I hope so! I also have light periods, and they are kind of short (3 days or so) Cheers!

My mom has told me that my grandmother always had irregular, light periods (never had to wear anything more than a pantyliner) and she has a tipped uterus yet she had six children. I don't think light periods alone would prevent you from getting pregnant.

I just posted the same question last night. I too was a bit worried, but I think everyone is right - we shouldn't be worried.

I also have about a 3-4 day period.

I have just asked my acupuncturist the same question because my periods only last 2 days and are very light. She said it is not good when your trying to concieve as the body is not building up a good lining for implantation. She has just stuck a few needles in my stomach in the hope of making my periods a bit heavier this month.

Like someone else said, as long as your periods are pretty regular you shouldn't have a problem.

It's definitely not your iron, I am severely anemic and have periods that are long and extremely heavy.
