Husbands just don't seem to understand what it is like. I have been waiting for 3 years to try for another baby and finally we have got the chance. He keeps moaning at me that i am obsessive and its all baby baby baby. I asked him if he really does want another and he said he would love another but he is not going to obsses about it, If it doesn't happen then he will be happy with what he has got(2 Boys). With my 1st he asked me if we could have kids and was always on my case, when am i fertile when can i have a test, am i pregnant yet. If i said i was due on then he would be dragging me to the hpts and saying buy one as i can't wait. Why is it so different now? My last 2 children he asked me but on this occasion i asked him

I don't tell my DH half the things I am thinking as they see it as 'obsessing'....I used to, but learnt just to tell him things on a need to know basis...

If he asked anything then i tell him but i make no effort in starting a conversation about babies with him.

Mine's the same as your's and thinks it will just happen. I've gone from trying to explain to crying to frustration. Now I just try to be sexy when its ov time and hope he's up for it.

Just this past weekend DH was going on about worrying about $$$ and TTC and 'maybe we should wait' he always does it! I think many of our OHs do, too. I always ask him "you do want a baby, right?" and he always replies with "of course!" but he does a pretty good job waiting, while i, after every month that passes, tend to feel down that it's another looooong month wait to see some results. He seems totally fine waiting out these 6 past months :/ sometimes i wonder does he want this as much as I? But I think they are more content with things as they are than us? That or they do a good job hiding emotions!!!

Haha I don't know if its because it's early or what but I just read this as "Husbands...want another," and I thought, if only bigamy were legal!

i think we all feel like that, im really trying not to pressure DH as he stops "working" when he feels under pressure, Its difficult cos he asks me as well when im ovulating etc, its like he wants to know but then can;t handle the pressure of knowing. Im not telling him next month about my cbfm readings, gonna try not to pressure him.

My OH is pretty supportive, so I'm quite lucky. He just doesn't understand why I feel jealous of the fact that all our friends are either pg or have babies...he says that our turn will come. Sometimes that frustrates me, but sometimes I wish I could feel a bit more like that because it would make TTC much easier, emotionally!
