i have to point on one thing: we are all on here for a reason, and its that men do not share the anxiety that we get over ttc! i think there are some reasons for that:

1 they are men, they care less about everything
2 they dont have ov and af reminding them every month (and if you think about that, its about 10 memories on sticks) that they are not succeeding, not to mention all the pseudo symptoms and tickles!
3 they dont have hormones that go up down and around the moon, so they dont see things quite the way we do with such emotion
4 this is lots and lots of bding for them, how can that be stressful?? (as long as we dont give them every detail so they are not aware at what exact moment they must succeed themselves!)

and of course they think we are obsessing if we talk to them about it and they do not respond as much...iwe talk about it more then they think about bding as a man...and they assume anything more than that has got to be obsessive! (wouldnt you!?)

I'm the same and have been told on many occasions that i am obsessed. This site is brill and it is so nice to chat with other people who are going through the same thing.
My oh will be the happy and loving dad when we finally have another but i don't think he enjoys the strain of ttc.
Well i better start working on him as that little egg will be on its way soon and things are hard enough as it is as he works nights and i only see him about 45 mins a day between Monday and Friday.

I hear ya Wantanother, my DH works shifts too, trying to BD is always interesting when you rarely see each other at the right times!

So glad the rest of you find the same with your OHs, makes me feel alot better! It's not that my hubby doesn't really really want kids but he doesn't understand why we have to BD on specific days. Have tried to explain the biology of it to him but I get the feeling he thinks I'm exaggerating!

Well, i can't at all complain about DH, he understands everything, he has read up about ovulation, menstrual cycle's, conception, pms, fertility drugs, baby making positions.... the list goes on... and my personal favourite is when i got my clomid he took out the pamphlet and read it out loud to both of us

So on monday if yall remeber my post we are placing TTC on hold, DH has been like a little , and yes every single day he will ask, "angel why are we waiting, i mean you can lose weight while TTC", i did explain to him that i need to lose some more weight so that our chances of conceiving is beter, he actually quotes out of the health and fitness dictionary, so are you aiming for 5 or 10% body mass loss for kick starting your cycle.... WTF...... how can my DH be so in tune with me....

Soz gals my DH is amazing

You are so lucky that your oh is very understanding and totally supportive. I do hope things go well for you.

All boys smell. this you MUST remember.

I am pretty lucky, my hubby is all for it and he likes to go into shops and look at stuff. He is obbessed with travel systems and prams at the mo. We even went over to Kiddicare and took my mum........ so I guess I am lucky.

However, he has said that he doesn't want to be rang at stupid hours of the day for a little bit of BD'ing..

Good luck though, have you tried the double negative so to speak and not mention it for a while and just carry on BD'ing on silence...
