I scared myself with that one...I seriously thought I had consumed the deadly amount of Mtn Dew until I read about the neon green pee!! I don't usually feel like this before AF but I'm not going off any "not so normal" symptoms this month due to the vitamins.
Just drop one or the other, if you drop your pre-natal just make sure you still get your folic, the B Vits and the folic are probably the most important parts of the pre-natal anyway. You can get too much B6, I ended up posting a warning on that thread about lengthening your lp with it. And you can do damage, some can be irreversable if the dose is too much for you, and from reading it effects people in different ways so the recommende dose can still have an adverse effect. Good luck with your bfp hun, not too long to wait at least now!
Hi I have not read that, what dose is dangerous and what are the irreversable effects? I think the problem is there are so many different things you can read about things!!! so confusing x

This is a great post!! I started 100mg vit B complex this cycle and have had major issues with insomnia and feeling buzzed up. I am convinced it is also delaying start of AF - now 16dpo and really dont feel preg plus -ve OPK - cant be arsed with the pain and disappointment of a real
I usually start spotting on approx 13dpo so something is weird. Also not bloated which is also unusual.
I may drop down to 50mg next cycle.
Maybe if I stop it now AF will get her arse in gear and start!

The FDA has established an upper tolerance threshold of 100 mgs Vitamin B6.
That is the maximum dosage that is safe for most healthy adults; even so, some will experience side effects, and there is little data about the effects of taking such a megadose over a long period of time.

The FDA advises that if you experience side effects at that dosage, you should discontinue it or scale back.

The FDA does not advise taking more than 100 mgs per day.

Me too.
I'm wondering if we should've been taking it in the morning, instead of in the evening.
I just didn't want to end up feeling/ acting weird at work, so I was taking it when I got home at about 5:30 pm.
But it sure was keeping me up all night, so I'm going to quit it for a little while, and maybe try again later.

During all my reading on this I read that B6/B complex is great to relieve PMS...this I believe!! I had the sore bb's but I wasn't cranky, bloated, emotional or any thing like that. I was feeling really icky last night but that's how I used to always know AF was coming when I was younger. So technically the B vitamin didn't delay at AF at all!! I just spotted for 7 days....which I have never done before. So I'm really on the fence as to what I should do. Stay on the B complex and drop the prenatal or the other way around. Also read ALOT that B6 is often prescribed to help with bad morning sickness...so you could be sitting there preggers but thinking not because you feel great. When really it could be the B6 doing all of its jobs!!

Anybody got any thoughts on which one to drop....the complex or the prenatal???

I'd drop the B and stay on the prenatal, but that's entirely up to you.
