Help needed!!! Cheap ovulation dip stick results

Hello everyone, could do with a bit of advice / reassurance (I hope!!). I am using the ovulation predictor sticks for the first time and have had negative results so far. I'm on day 14 of a 26 / 27 day cycle and today is the first time any second line has appeared. I know it's negative as it's not very dark but does it mean I'll probably get a dark line tomorrow? Should I test again?

Thanks in advance - hope to be posting a lot more here, looks like a lovely forum

Thanks - I'll test again later tonight and see if it's darker, only got three left so don't want to use them all up before I can get more. Feels like I've done loads this month and so far there's been nothing but the control line.

You should start using the OPKs around cd10 and do at least 1 every day. They say the afternoon is a better time to test. Once you start seeing a darker second line, test in the am and pm....

Probably best leave it til the morning to test again then?

Started testing on day 9 with it being the first time I've used them and my cycle isn't hugely reliable. So pleased I've got at least a faint line, thought it was going to be the same as the pregnancy tests where I'm not expecting to see the second line anymore!!!

Lots more positive now especially as the tests seem to indicate I ovulate later than I thought I did (from ovulation calenders on the internet).

Thank you lots
