I have been using OPKs for the last few days -not with fmu, mid afternoon pee and with No result whatsoever, is there a chance i could ov without the test telling me so. The reason im writing is when i have used opks before, there was always a result line, faint but still there at this point in my cycle and then on ov day it gets darker than the control line, but these opks show no line what so ever except control line. whats the dealio!

I had this problem for ages. I started testing twice a day, once at around 2pm and then at around 8pm. I got a negative at 2pm once but a positive at 8pm. Was back to negative the next time I tested at 2pm.

Sometimes, you just miss the peak if you only test once.

I got 7 days til im supposed to ov, so its not too bad but with all old opks i ever used i got some kind of test line at least which got stronger towards the ov day. i havent ttc for 2 years and now i am using opks again i get no test line. hrrmmms!

I get the bright white all the time. Its just not consistent. The first month I used them there was always a line. Then the line just disappeared and reappeared. This month I was sure I was anovulatory until I got a bright red line on CD 21/22. Temps were all over the place as well.

I always test mid afternoon but you are right ella about testing twice a day I think I may do that for this cycle .

thanks ladies!! Am testing again ina couple of hours, its just annoying. Plus im now having af type pains on my left hand side...weird?
