Well - we have only been TTC for 1 month and I also only came off the pill a month ago. Still have not had the witch but should get her next week.

Its amazing how after so many years of trying not to have a baby (on BCP) you realise that it will take time.. I know it can take up to a year but I am already so envious of pregnant ladies and their bumps... I know i will have to be patient...

Sorry for sounding so impatient as I know so many people are struggling to ttc and I dont want to sound like an impatient brat...

Once you have made your mind up that you want to ttc, it is such an exciting time.

I have heard of ladies who do have difficulty when coming off the bcp and conceiving (this may not be you though).

I always thought that it would be so easy especially when my BIL and his gf got preg after the first month trying....and here we are like 2 years later....We are all different. Perhaps it is best that we have not gotten preg yet, as life has been stearing us in good directions for the future Keep a positive attitude and REALLY try not to stress about it, as I think that has a huge impact on when ttc...lots of !

Thanks so much for your words of support. It is so great to find a forum like this!! It really helps as I have not spoken to anyone but my husband (obviously as he has a part to play) and its good to get things off your chest.

Hi there, my partner and i have been TTC for nearly 4 months and I'm very impatient too!
Suddenly there are pregnant women everywhere and I'm jealous!
Cant tell anyone as we are keeping it quiet for the time being, the forum is fab for chat and discussions and knowing your not the only one obsessing about cycles, EWCM and ovulation!

Sometimes i think the same thing. The things they taught me in health class etc made it sound like I'd get prego in a heartbeat made me scared really! But now when the time to actually TTC comes...it really isn't as easy as they make it out to be!!! Sometimes I think...why did i wait an extra year (like i did)...it's going to take me a whole year to conceive! bah! Ah well, love, we will all get our chance...i find it a game of hit or miss, getting lucky! sort of like a gamble...

I hope you get an early BFP, some ladies do get lucky afterall . Good luck TTC, i will see you around the TTC boards!
