AF and clots

Just wondering if passing fairly large clots during AF is bad or just normal....? I was told once by an old obgyn that it is normal for women who are on bcp...but I am not....

Baby aspirin thins the blood, I think it's supposed to help with the fetus implanting.

yes once a day but it has to be a low dose( "trixilox" told me about it ) that why it's the baby kind...when i see how much clots have i always wonder if my walls is to thick for the egg to implement so the aspirin help to thin it!!

I have also had some sharp pains on my left side...felt like someone plucked something from my ovary...it made me stop everything I was doing and thinking, and I was like "What the...#&%@*".

hey guys i get that and im up for one or two nights because i cant sleep with the pain, i took aspirin last month and noticed this cycle was slightly less painful! maybe you should tell your gp these symptoms, i did and got a vaginal ultrasound done and thats how my gynacologist new i had adenomyosis (endometriosis of the uterine lining). I was prescribed stuff thats meant to help releive the spasms and the heavy blood flow but theyve done nothing for me he thought id get pregnant by now (which i havnt so im going to back to him). You girls should def look into this especially if you get clots a lot. The blood i get can be very dark red nearly black and just falls out of me Sorry tmi! and its thick and stringy and froms a lot of clots in the toilet ( 1-8 each time i go to the toilet). Id also reccommend nurofen...its the only thing that helps my pain and it contains anti imflammatories which is good. My gynae said i didnt need asprin but im taking it anyway 75mg only. When i have af i take it before i get up and then take the nurofen 4 hours later as i dont want too many painkillers in one go!
