| Other BnB Addict  Join Date: Nov 2009 Posts: 4,050 | Has anyone ever felt left out at an FRG meeting, beacuse you didnt have a kid? I felt this way beacuse I didnt have any. I maybe a stepmom, but she doesnt live with us until our next duty station, she stays with her mom. Anyway, I felt uncomfortable and out of place and they werent really that friendly. So I never went back. I do have a few friends that I met from church and my workplace and thats good enough for me.  |

We do get pre deployments briefings and a monthly newsletter. The welfare officers are pretty good too. We live in our own house though and not on camp so i do feel a bit isolated when the hubs is away. x x | |
