Hi! My hubby is Army, stationed at Fort Carson. We've been TTC for 18+ mo and have two angel babies. The hard part is that deployment is coming up in less than two months so if this wasn't our month, we have 1, possibly 2 cycles (depending on the exact deployment date) to try. It's nerve racking, anybody else going through the same thing?

Laura-- We didn't live on base at campbell for the same reason, We're the same about living on base, we NEVER did until we got here, but these are just gorgeous! And we live on a very quiet base, with neighbors that we have drinks with on occasion. So it's just an ideal situation for everyone... Alot of Army wives are catty.. I never tried to make many friends because I saw how much drama passed between them!

It is SOOO unbelievably stressful, it gives a whole new meaning to the "clock" ticking away I really hope it happens, I can't imagine going through a 12 month deployment, with all of the negative anniversaries coming up, and not being pregnant=having nothing to look forward to. We've also had really bad luck with training rotations etc, he's always gone during the "good" days! He'll be going to Iraq for the 2nd time.

Well, he was told he might be going to al udeid either end of this year of beggining of next year, but i don't think he will now because he is moving bases before then, and I think the deployment only stood if he was still at the base we are now.
I'm hoping he won't go for a while, buba due in September and really don't want to be left alone with our 1st baby....
