i hear ya..ive said the same thing, lol. you spend so much time trying not to get pregnant and then you find out its actually really, really hard to get pg- wtf!!. I told a friend of mine of the tiny window of opportunity each month, and she was shocked!
Yeah, i thought, welcome to the real world, lol!!
Anyway, well done on getting the cbfm, i credit it with getting me pg last time Please feel free to ask any questions and have a look at their website as it explains a lot, too http://www.clearblue.info/uk/FAQSFAM.cfm
Good luck and enjoy!! (its a helluva lot easier than opk's even on a bad day, lol) |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Ooh, just did another OPK test (think I'm getting a little obsessed) and there's a faint line - maybe I started the LH surge just after I tested before - fingers crossed! | | | | Status: Offline

They can be tricky little b******s at the best of time. thats why i use the cbfm..takes the work out of things for me..
just thought id give you a pep talk so you dont think its all doom and gloom, cause, baby, it never is- trust me !! | Omi's right, OV sticks etc aren't an exact science and aren't always accurate. I always quote this bird but fertility expert Zita West says they're not that great, tracking CM is better. And some girls don't get on with OV sticks - like moi! Had EWCM b4 and not got a positive. x |

| i used to have similar troubles with opks...timing really does matter. make sure you do just as it says. even still though, they can be quite tricky because you can just miss ov peak if you are testing at the wrong time, or even worse, the wrong time to catch it.

I'm Currently Feeling: | CM and CBFM don't match Wondering if anyone has had the issue of CM indicating O and the CBFM not matching up... We are ttc and according to BBT and CM, O was on CD16 (as expected), but the CBFM said low, then CD17 High and CD 18 Peak - but the BBT and CM on CD 17 and 18 didnt fit that... Not sure what to trust. DH says trust my body... I am leaning that way, but wondering if anyone else has found this... | | | | Status: Offline

Still saying high but no peak yet. No physical ov signs just yet re cm and I don't temp but I'll let you know if it seems to coincide! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Wow, wish I'd known about cbfm before this cycle started...I bought a basal thermometer but I'm not disciplined enough to remember to use it. A POAS system definitely works better for me! |

| i have never used these, but dont the opks work by detecting a hormone/chemical change in your body (which is completely reliable since its the chemical that pushes the egg out) based on that, i would trust the opk i think over all other methods....
also, i have come across reviews on the net that say they had trouble with CBFM. i just dont know... |
