I'm Currently Feeling:

Is it six months or six cycles?

I am always reading statistics, like 60% of people get pregnant withing 6 months of trying, 75% within 9 and 80% within a year.
So my question is, do they actually mean months or cycles.

For example, we have been trying since the end of December, so really only 3 months, but this is cycle number 5 because I have 26 day cycles.

Any ideas?

They probably mean cycles, most people say months instead of cycles as for an average person their cycle is every month

When its coming from scientific/medical research I'm inclined to think they will work it in months as scientific journals tend to be quite specific. I guess though magazines, newspapers & websites may not be so accurate in their reporting. So really, like many other things i don't have a clue. I'm being a chocolate teapot, sorry! But very interesting!!

Yeah, I agree with AG - it's more likely cycles.

152 days against 30 days ...you see why it's taking us so long!!!
