I'm Currently Feeling: | Ovulation Pains - HELP PLEASE! Hi girls
What do your o pains feel like? Where are they, what do they feel like and how long do they last?
I had a pain for about 24 hours on and off - surely it cant be that? It was really uncomfortable, just under both hips and a dragging feeling. Sharp pains also. Probably wind!
Thanks x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I think I only feel ovulatoin pain on my left side. So I guess that would be more every other month when I Ovulate on that side.
I would say that it is an achey feeling. Not really AF like. Discomfort yes. And mine went through to my back. I had to take Tylonal for mine this month. And I swear I had bleeding from it. Only enought to make a streak on my TP. and only once. If I didnt look, I would have missed it. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I get OV pain and what you have described sounds like OV pain to me.
Its difficult as its the same as AF pain - everyone has a slightly different experience and also it differs from month to month sometimes.
I normally start to feel pain in my hips and side first. Sharper pains are always on the left (never the right? not sure why not??!), then usually about 48 hours after this, the pain tends to be more central and lower down- more in the public region, usually at the same time as i get a load of watery CM (sorry - TMI!). So, sometimes it feels like the pains start days before i even OV!!
I think our bodies just like to confuse us!! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | mine aren't really consistent, one month it was reeeeally bad, to the point where i just went to sleep so i didn't have to think of the pain. very sharp pain in the lower right (for me), felt like someone PUNCHED me in the ovary. other months it is usually just a dull ache in the same area (or the left side). i also spot during ovulation.
hope this is it for you, and you catch the egg! good luck |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I also get O pains, this month was on the left, they don't alternate every month but when it's on whatever side the egg comes from that month, it's crampy and twingy and like Suz's sometimes goes through to my back too. It's pretty uncomfortable for me...I can tell it's not wind as I get the EWCM with it. I usually get mine for about 3 days until I actually "O". |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I've gotta be different... Why is it always me that's got to different? My pains show in the right side pretty much every second month, but not at my hips, mine are much higher, not quite, but certainly nearer to waist height and they are more at the side than the front or back. I'm no Dr but I suppose it's almost like the kidney area??
They definately occur every second month and have tied in with temps and O sticks!! So i am quite sure that's what they are. |
