Well, I've noticed an increase in CM throughout the whole month--it could be unrelated, but I have been having 2-3 cups of green tea per day. So, maybe it's good for fertility?

From what I gathered about green tea, the process used to remove the caffeine isn't good for you, I opted for naturally caffeine free tea (Redbush) it takes some getting used to but now I love it. I use the Twinings brand. I also use EPO to increase CM as well as cough medicine (with the ingredient Guaifenesin) which loosens mucus, it seemed to work for me as my CM definately increased. Babydust to all X X

Hi girls

I just bought the book "What to expect before you're expecting by Heidi Murkoff and it says:

"That cup of green tea may be brimming with health benefits, but should you go green when you're trying to make a baby? Maybe not. Green tea decreases the effectiveness of folic acid (ironically found in green leafies), a vitamin that's vital to the healthy development of your soon-to-be baby, and one of the nutrients that you should be getting your quota of during your baby prep phase. So its smart to limit yourself to a cup a day (or a glass of iced) while you're TTC, or switch to a black brew."

Hope that helps

WSS, the effectiveness of the green tea is outweighed by the fact that it really decreases the effectiveness of Folic Acid.
