I actually agree with Maz. The frustration levels certainly increase over time. I remember years ago I was always so excited about POAS and I'd be smiling through the whole wait, just expecting a BFP. When it dawned on me it was not going to be this easy POAS became a chore. and I very rarely expected a BFP - still don't. I try not to think negative, but oh well - after all this time it's hard not to.
I also find the first week the worse. Maybe it's a long term TTC thing? But I find the first week is the week you nit pick at everything, about the timing, about the position, about the legs in the air long enough, about the charting, about the waiting inbetween poas for the opks. Anything you can question, I will question. So during the second week I'm usually exhausted from stressing! so it just goes by, and by then you only have days to wait - so the count down is a little quicker.
