Depo Provera and Fertility or lack there of

Hi Ladies,

I'm feeling quite sorry for my self and confussed. I have plans to see the doctor in february if my periods don't return after trying Agnust castus and Tesco version of pre pregnancy vitamins.

I was due my last injection at the beginning of June and didn't have it I have not had a period since. I saw a doctor at my surgery to actually get it renewed in december and he refused for various reasons he said I could have a progesteron only pill or implant refused to take bloods though Ihave been told repeatedly I would need them then when I request them they are refused.

I have not been on the vitamins and Agnus Castus as I have nothing to loose for long but felt I had some EWCM a few days ago and my boob have been achy now with sore nipples. I have had some odd cramping and twinges on my right hand side. I have done a multitude of pregnancy tests but but all negative.
DOes any one think I am imagining thing or that my periods may be returning?

I am already very miserable because it's something I don't seem to be able to speed up and I don't really understand.

Sorry to write so much I am just a bit sad today.

We have only just started to put any effort in as last year was very stressful and we bought our house.
Do you think my GP would do that for me if I begged as it took my parents nearly 2 years to concieve me and my mum had some sort of Ovary problem.

We are both naturally cursed with Crippling period pains adn heavy bleeds so I was so pleased the depot worked well to start with.

I am just trying to figure out if you can have good EWCM when you are not ovulating this is my real glimmer of hope.

Id ask the dr for bloods and a scan just to put your mind at rest if he/she wont see a different doc !
The depo had some strange side effects on me i was convinced i was pregnant sore boobs sickness funny taste in my mouth bloating etc etc
I also had lots of ewcm but according to bloods i wasnt ovulating my progesterone was 1.5 which is poor.
Ive just got to wait now to see if my periods are regular like before i was every 28days to the hour lol but still going to lots this month and get some cd21 bloods taken to see if i ovulated x Go see your dr hun and let me know how you get on xxx

I should I know. I feel like I am still a kid my mum doesn't approve of kids outside of wedlock but I gave her a god talking to and she is quite keen on being a granny.

Totally redicoulous I have been an adult for a 6 years I should feel like that not totally scared and wimp out on appointments.

Gah.

Ok I will see if I can get an evening appointment tomorrow. With any one but the horrible doc I saw before. Shame they don't seem to have onsite scanners

Hi - I was on depo for around 5 years and got my last jag in Sept 07 - only got af back around Dec 08 and then no ovulation until Nov 09 so for me it took a long time. I was advised as it can take 2 years after your last jag so it is just a waiting game. I too am not keen on going to the doc!!

Agnus Castus can help , I took this to try and regulate my long cycles are there are still not regular. Good luck wit your doc x

They really don't tell you this will happen. In fact they usually say periods could get worse if they are bad.
Ohhhhh want to stompmy feet like an angry toddler at the thought
