I'm Currently Feeling: | Talk to me about OPKs Hi all I just ordered myself some ovulation test strips for this moth (along with pre-seed yippee!) But i have a couple questions about the OPKs.
I know when you take them the line gets darker and darker until it's equal to the control line, right? So when it's equal to the control line it's the perfect time. What i don't know is when do you start POAS? And when? do you use FMU? Or is it taken in the middle of the day? Do you take it twice a day, morning then afternoon/evening? What CD should i start them? I bought 20, just to be sure i have enough (or if ths month doesn't work, i'll have extras for next month!)
Thanks! Anyone else starting OPKs and such this month too? Would love some buddies to compare notes and such to I know Trixie mentioned she may start something this month, are you? Good luck girls! Lets beat the in April! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi samo, well, I have just started using them again this month, but I dont have the preseed. I think we sould get together and chart our progress together. It is best to do opks with afternoon urine and there is really no need to hold it in, I do mine at 2.30 every day and my cycles are 25-29 days average and I started using mine on cd 6. So get peeing on sticks girl!! Are u charting also? It would be a help to yourself if you were cos U could rely on ur temps also to indicate O.If you need any help, I have been schooled by babezone, and I could help you. Bear in mind tho that not every woman get a really definitive dark line on her opk, in this case you need to take the day that you get the darkest reading. Good Luck- I am currently on CD 11 and I havent had a positive yet, but I am also charting for the first time and it is very interesting, let us know how u get on. Candice xx | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Depending on the brand.
If it is ebay cheapies (like I use) becareful, because sometimes you don't always have the line AS dark, but it's pretty darn close - treat that as a positive.
Test in the afternoon, before dinner as it's getting a little late by then.
Good luck sweetheart! |
