I'm Currently Feeling:

Oh my God, it is soooooooo nice to know I'm not the only one! Woo hoo, reassured!

.....Sorry, not meaning to gloat, and wouldn't wish it on anyone - I've just been made to feel that I'm one in a million for having it come back again and again. Haven't heard about the probiotics and cranberry juice - will give 'em both a whirl!

It's a catch 22 though isn't it? I mean, when you've got it you need to shower twice a day, but you can't because in effect that makes it worse! Very frustrating! And yes, I made the mistake of having a beer when we were out for a meal last time I was taking the metranidazole -OHMYGOD - never again! We had to go home half way through dinner as I was having problems seeing straight; it was like I was on a really bad trip!

Anyway, am on a mammoth dosage right now (hence feeling really pukey!) which should knock it onto touch - I hope! I'm now of the opinion though that after this course of antibiotics, I will come off the pill permenantly and see what happens.... perhaps not the most sensible of approaches, but I'm fed up with trying to organise my life around a gammy bacteria!!

Fingers crossed since i came off the pill i havent noticed it coming bk which is awesome because i kept getting it again and again!! but i have never had it before in my life....very annoying

I think it might have been when the doctor changed my pill a few months back that i started to get it, i went onto marvelon and then started getting problems. thankfully not taking any pill now obviously as i'm ttc so it seems to have helped!! yay fingers crossed i dont get it now i said that

some people say the candida diet can help this but theres sooooo much you cant eat it would be well hard to do...

If the gynae gives me anymore tips next week i will let you know xx
