as for the smoking......I am sorry to say that yeah i do. I gave up with my first and second baby.....but went back to it when tehy were both about 3 months old. I have cut right down to about 5 a day. DH smokes and i have told him that we have to quit together. All the stress at the moment is making me want one even more....I do know that i need to get that 5 down to 0 but it is so hard. When i was pregnant before i just gave up and it never bothered me. At the moment i am feeling so down i just dont want to - adn i know it is wrong.
i have no idea why it took us 2 years - they said it was unexplained unfertiltiy in the end. DH was fine and i was all ok - we were going for tests to see if i was "destroying the sperm" when we found out i was expecting. Our second was conceived 3 months after our son was born and was a complete surprise. I never thought we would "get caught" when it had taken so long - but now i would give anything to have that happen again!! | Thats the same as me, i know i would def not smoke if i found out i was pregnant, wouldnt give it another thought, but i'm trying to quite now to boost my fertility every way i can to get pregnant and then hopefully not misscarry but i'm telling you its soooo hard
I havent been pregnant before and i have been on the pill since i was 16 - now 24 so its been a long old time with things nt working normally
I was ttc for 6 months before with my x husband 2 years ago and nothing but i'm hoping i dont have a problem
Do you use OPKS or anything? i'm thinking of using them this month to see if i'm OV-ing

xx | I havent used any OPKs this time - am going to this month though for definite. It worked with my son. also went out yesterday and bought loads of multi vitamins. I wanted to start temping this cycle too but every time i go out i forget to buy a thermometre!! think i am going mad! LOL! I have bid on a clear blue fertility monitor on ebay - hopefully it will be with me before i ov - should be next weekend but after everything that has happened i am not sure that my cycle will be a normal one this month.
got dh taking zinc aswell - supposed to make the spermies stronger! we will see! I am going t otry and destress - and perhaps see if i can get a babysitter for next weekend so that we can go out and chill - we don't really get time to do that anymore. Just adds to the stress.
i even thought taht maybe the exercise that i do is making me not get pregnant or making the beans not stick - i do high impact step 3 or 4 times a week in my bid to get fit and tone up. DH thinks i am clutching at straws!! | | | | Status: Offline

I might have to buy some zinc for OH actually it cant do any harm taking them can it...
I have my opks so i'm gonna try them from next week and see if i get a positive, hope so as that alone will be exciting lol
i dont think the exercise will be because even when you get preg they say you can carry on with what you normally do as thats what your body is used to, i think trying not to worry so much a relax would be better, def agree on getting a babysitter and having a lovely romantic evening together would be a great idea!!!
I'm not gonna worry about stuff as much now as i really think worrying too much about all this info people find makes it worse....like what happened when no one knew that saliva and lube effects the sperm or hot baths tight boxers all that rubbish...people had less to think about and probably conceived a lot quicker....for the first 6 months i'm just gonna try and be healthier, not drink a lot and quit smoking as much as i can.....if it takes longer than that then i might start reading more into it but i dont wanna worry to much about everything as that cant be good,
Fingers crossed we both have a relaxed exciting month of romantic BDing and some naughty stuff (brought an outfit from ann summers lol) and be lucky enough to see a BFP soon

How you feeling today? | well.....when we got pregnant with our first, we had been out all day watching an FA cup final, had a LOT of alcohol, a curry and BD when we got in - i know for sure that was the night we did it - and we had done everything that the specialists had told us not to do! i agree that chilling out is important.....but it is just so hard. I am still bleeding - but more spotting now, and have done another BFP - i think i need to stop testing until i have been to the hospital as it is just freaking me out.
i am going out with the girls tonight and tomorrow night me and OH are going to have a take away and just chill out together - and we have agreed that we are not going to just sit inf ront of the tele all night like we normally do! LOL!! it isnt ov time so we are just going to enjooy the night and each other without the added stress of thinking we HAVE to BD. Do you find that - that sometimes yo really don't feel like it - but you know you have to? | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | yep see thats why i dont wanna be thinking oooooohh i shouldnt be doing this that and this as it worries you and its not being relaxed its thinking about other things all the time so i understand why it doesnt happen for some couple for a long time
I'm just not gonna worry for a least 6 months as thats normal time it takes for a healthy couple anyway
I think you'll have a really nice weekend going out tonight and chilling with him tomorrow....good idea
I wouldnt test anymore until you've seen the doctor and see what they say, try and have a good weekend without worrying to much about it.....easier said than done
Not really as we havent been together for that long so we seem to BD every night anyway....lol....i suppose after years and years and having kids already its harder to find the time lol

I'm Currently Feeling: | No, no, no, no, nooooooooo! Have just had to go to the doc's *again* - he gave me 6 weeks worth of antibiotics and a big box of condoms. I'm under strict instructions not to get pregnant for at least two months to make sure the infection is cleared. ARGH!!!!
Am feeling very, very frustrated now - month number two ttc, and still having to use two forms of contraception! | | | | Status: Offline

i think you may need some alcohol and chocies tonight!! | Nah, I don't mind telling you - I might as well get over being coy about all things gynalogical if I'm planning a baby! Basically, for my last five periods, I have developed BV. Every. Single. Time. Apparently, frequent reoccurance is not very common, and the doc is not sure what to do with me. Am on a stronger and longer dose this time, but if it doesn't shift it, I'm off to a specialist.
The antibiotic is metranidazole, which is not reccommended during pregnancy, plus the doctor wants to make sure it's totally gone before I conceive as your choices of treatment are limited if you're pregnant. Untreated, BV can lead to low birth weight and premature labour... not that I'd leave it untreated as it's gross!!!!!
And, to cap it all off, the antibiotics make me REALLY sick, and you can't drink while you're on it - so although a few beers is just what I could do with, it's sadly out of the question for the next few weeks! | | | | Status: Offline

Touch wood since i came off the pill i havent seemed to have it....but i've never had it before in my life and then just kept getting it
Thats pants that you have gotta take tablets for so long and i've had them ones before too you cant have a drop of alcohol.....
I'm going to see the gyno in a week tomorrow so gonna ask how to keep it away as i hate it....
i read somewhere that probotic yoghurts and cranberry helps and started using only fem fresh cleaner, but i was showering 2 times a day and that can make it worse as you are washing away natural bacteria in your body
Hope you had a good weekend chick
