Spotting is usually just a really tiny bit of blood when you wipe or in your underwear. It varies so some women have so little they don't even notice it and for some women (but rarely) they can mistake it for the start of their AF. At the heaviest though it is usually just a few little spots of blood which can be pinkish, red or brown.

Yours sounds like spotting!! Good luck!!

Thanks. Am not sure, tbh. There were two definite red dots on the paper but only after ‘checking internally’ so to speak but they were definitely blood and they were definitely from ‘up there’ – just don’t want to give myself false hope, you know?

Aw I really do not want to get my hopes up but, hugs back. I don’t feel pregnant, you know? I feel weirdly crampy but, having checked my record of symptoms I had the same light cramps last month!

Have never had sore boobs/nipples before. My mum never had them with either pregnancy. Is this a must? I say this only because most people have sore or tingly boobs around AF and I never have.

I never have sore boobs/nipples around AF......never.
Its only when I am pg that this occurs....its an unmistakale feeling...
Ur boobs will be effected in some way, whether it is soreness/nipple hardness/areola darkening- change of appearance....
Coz its the HCG in u that sends chemicals to your boobs.....ur Mum may have not analysed herself like we do...I know my Mum and my older colleagues didn't...they say, 'I think so...not sure...' and things like that!? hehe
But I also don't 'feel' pregnant, u just feel the same really...and another sign is getting cramps well b4 AF due- when usually only a few days b4 if that!? U think its the AF cumin early its that much like it!!!

xx

I never had sore boobs when I got my BFP but I normally would have them coming upto AF. They got sore a bit later (I think around 12 weeks) but went again really quickly. They started growing at about 8 weeks but by 19 weeks I'd only gone up one size. It wasn't till about 15 or 16 weeks I noticed them get darker either so it's different for everyone.
