Hi, 28 day cycles sound good, not as long to wait for each time to come round I suppose? I'm a bit concerned I can't make head nor tail of my cm as I can't reccall it ever been eggwhite, just the same all through the cycle. When I was recording it in FertilityFriend it thought I had ovulated twice incorrectly as my BBT was up twice, but I'm sure I didn't! Wonder if my cycles are even normal yet?

Also, has anyone tried using herbal fertility aids such as FertilAid? I might staert taking some if my AF comes this cycle as don't think it can do any harm.

hi guys

me and my fiance of nearly 5 years have been trying since September 09 and nothing. i havent been on any contraception except we used condoms and i have a 9 yr old daughter from another relationship. i know my fiances little men 'work' as we had an unplanned pregnancy 3.5 yrs ago but unfortunately the foetus hadnt formed properly so we had to have an early termination at 8 weeks.ive been taking my folic acid and we have been bd'ing nearly every day and every day during main fertile days but still nothing. i didnt realise it would be this hard and its so upsetting when the rest of the world seems to be pregnant or expecting!!! im 32 now and wondering if my age plays a part? i dont smoke although i enjoy a couple glasses wine on a weekend. good luck to everyone whos ttc

Hi girls.
Juuulie - It's so funny - We've been trying since October and I feel like it's been a long time but when you say you are worried and trying since September it seems like such a short time and you defo shouldn't be worrying yet - especially with such a fertile history! I don't know much yet but defo reckon you shouldn't be panicking!
Relax and enjoy all the It's defo the best bit!!!

Cookie 1983 - dunno what to say to you about your CM confusion especially without getting icky ...so I'll just get icky.... just get in there and get a good sample. I'm sticky egg whitey from the day before ov and it's stringy. Lasts about 2 days and then starts thickening again and then about 10 days DPO I go back to creamy for a week or so....gross I know but I guess we need to get our heads around giving and taking advice!! Are you taking much in the way of supplements at the moment? I'm taking a supplement mix called pregnacare(there's one for pre-conception and one for pregnancy -Obviously I'm taking the pre one) which apparently contains all the vitamins and minerals you need to help all the fluids etc to work in the right way (also contains required daily folic acid amount). If you aren't maybe you could try something like that to enhance your CM?

Hi Chilly - I am taking folic acid at the mo and will see if this AF comes on (should be tomorrow) and if so then I will get some of that Fertil Aid herbal supplement which apparently is suppose to help regulate cycles and things like cm I think. I will bear in mind the pregnacare supplements too, sounds good. I ordred some tests on ebay yesterday so hoping they arrive tomorrow and that AF still not here so I can take one! Not actually taken any tests yet as AF always comes in the nick of time!

I'm in the same boat as the OP. 3 months in and getting impatient. I thought I had finally found my PMA but suddenly lost it yesterday. I was at the doctor's today for an unrelated thing (sorta)--yeast infection--and asked her about it as my periods have always been wonky. She said what everyone is saying here: "it's only been 3 months, give it time" LOL But due to my history of period problems and my sister being diagnosed with cysts on her ovaries (no PCOS though) I was given the go ahead to get bloodwork done (today) and am going for an ultrasound in a few weeks. Hope I'm preggers by then! hee hee
