Thumbs down

Please tell me there is someone else out there.....

that have had this: I am going out of my mind and have no idea if i should be posting on TTC or first trimester.
this week i have done 6 HPT's which have been BFP - i have done 3 others which have been BFN's one of which was a CB Digi. For the past 2 weeks i have had really tender boobs, really high cervix, been cramping, trapped wind and constipation. I went to the doctors and he did my bloods which came back as negative (?).
this morning i did another HPT which was also BFP - and my cervix is still really really high and closed - but there was a little brown CM (not in my pants though - just on my finger when i had checked cervix - sorry for TMI!)- does this mean that AF is on its way - or could it implantation at this late stage - i am now 17DPO and CD30.

The has got me - just been to the loo and she is here totally uninvited. can only assume that this is another early mc and that is why my bloods were negative after so many positive HPT's. Very sad.....very disappointed. Cervix is still really high - i think i need to go and see someone. perhaps i am just not destined to have another baby.
thank you all for your support over the last couple of weeks - but for now i am well and truley out.
xxx

Hi lovely, did not want to read and not reply.

I would go back to your docs on Monday and tell them exactly what you posted.

What are more accurate, blood tests or HPT?

Hi

Hi, im new to the site so i cant help with too much, but im ssure you must be pregnant to be getting all the positive results you are getting, yto get one false result is possible but surely not as many as you have had.
i know this is easier said than done but please dont panic just yet im sure everything will be fine.

ahh thanks hun. I would say the blood tests are more accurate - which is why i am so confused. I don;t understand why i keep getting BFP's on HPT's - could it be that bloods were tested too early? so confused - if AF is coming i just wish that she would bloody hurry up and at least then i would know. I spoke to my GP yesterday again and he said that we had to wait another 2 weeks and then he would send me for a scan if nothing had changed. 2 weeks is just bonkers - i can't wait that long. I rang early pregnancy unit at my local hospital for some advice and they said the same thing. apparently your hcg level has to reach about 50 for it to register on a HPT - which it has on mine - but my actual blood tests are saying negative.

Yeah, I read your post earlier this week and I'm frustrated for you. What a confusing time for you. I'm pretty new to this board too but if it were me, I'd be going in to the doc on Mon. and telling him exactly what's going on. Maybe he'll give you another blood test. I know my doc. didn't even want to see me for a blood test until I was almost 8wks because the hcg takes awhile to build up sometimes. So that said... I'm still hoping that you get your official BFP from the doc very soon. And I think it's safe to say you're going to get it. Try to relax and remember you're not alone. We've got cha covered. Keep us posted.

Everything the docs and the hospital says contradicts what is happening. Have you tried NHS direct for another opinion?

thanks for your support ladies. Rumpkin i haven;t tried NHS Direct - i will do though. superp thanks for your post. I think i am going to have to just sit and wait - and see what happens. I am going to stop testing and wait and see what doctor says on monday. unless of course that B$£ch shows up before then. I think if i do start bleeding now i can safely assume that this little bean didn't stick - that would explain everything really. Really hope that isn't the case.....

Oh wishing, how crap for you! This seems to be a real stinky month for people, with the witch showing up late, or as in your case things just not making sense. My own cycle is a tiny bit of synch this month and I know how much that has thrown me never mind what you have. I really hope you have a bean and that it is sticking. If good wishes have anything to do with it you will be absolutely fine. Now try and stay calm, cos if there is a bean in there, it won't be happy if mummy is all stressed out.....
