If you started your cycle yesterday, you might not be able to use it this cycle, as you have to start it by CD5 at the latest, and you need to set it up to test within a 6 hour window every day using FMU. It sounds complicated when you read the instructions, but is really easy once you get the hang of it. If you have any questions, there's bound to be loads of answers available here.

Good luck

xx
Yeah, i agree with Maz.. also wanted to add that it will ask for sticks depending on your cycles so if shorter it will ask for it earlier, cd 6..mine are longer so i feed it from cd 9..that way you cannot miss the ov.. Good luck and enjoy!!

You can still use it if it arrives a few days late. You just cheat it and tell it you're on CD5 when you are really on say CD7 for example. I did that the first cycle and it worked just the same. Also to save $$ on sticks after you get your peak reading you can reuse old sticks because it will always give you another "peak" then a "high, low low low" etc.

Also remember the monitor only detects LH surges and estrogen so it isn't an assurance that you are ovulating. I've read that you can only for sure know you are ovulating by temping.

I'm still very pleased with my monitor. I've had it for 3 cycles now and its shown a consistant peak on around CD13! Good luck.

i'm on my first cycle using cbfm- 7th cycle in total. I've never been sure when im ovulating as my cycles have been between 24-36 days. They seem to have settled the past 3 months between 30-34 days which still didn't help with ovulating. I aren't very good at CM monitoring so the monitor is really helping me. It seems to be accurate anyway. I've been taking B6 as well to try bring my ovulation earlier a bit as i also have a short luteal phase, im really hoping it has worked!!
