I got one and used it for 3 cycles and never got a peak reading. I am not using it now. I think it might be damaged or something....

My cycles are 26/27 days long too and so far I've had no luck catching that egg, even tho I "think" we are bding at the right time each month.

I partly want the clearblue fertility monitor, so I can see that peak reading, as it will reassure me that I am deffo ovulating.

I would say thats the best bit really, as the high peak assures you your bd'ing on the right days..and because sperm live longer you dont have to do this crazy bd all over the place getting tired of it in the process, lol!

Good luck michy with your new purchase.

I have been using mine for 5 months now, and swear by it. No BFP for me yet though, but I still wouldn't be without my CBFM.

If you started your cycle yesterday, you might not be able to use it this cycle, as you have to start it by CD5 at the latest, and you need to set it up to test within a 6 hour window every day using FMU. It sounds complicated when you read the instructions, but is really easy once you get the hang of it. If you have any questions, there's bound to be loads of answers available here.

Good luck

xx
