I think I ovulated early......

Last month I started temping to confirm that I was right in my own asssumptions about ovulation etc. And my temps and OPKs confirmed I ovulated day 13 of a 27 day cycle. Great it was exactly what I expected.

But in the course of temping last month I noticed I had no change in CM through the month at all. even though I was taking EPO. So I was a bit worried.

This month, DH left on CD9 and I thought I had no chance of catching the egg this month so I've missed a couple of days temps and stuff. But this morning CD12 and my temp has taken a massive spike from 36.28 yesterday to 36.69 this morning.

I presume therefore I ovulated yesterday? naturally I took an OPK this morning and its positive. So I've got one positive indicator that it has happened and one that it will - what's going on?

And more importantly if I O'd yesterday on CD11 and DH and BD'd at 5pm on CD11 do I maybe, maybe, have just a little bittie chance after all for this month.........

i think you have a great chance if you ovulated yesterday when you got a positive opk, remember that opk's usually register that your going to ovulate so your definately right

get a clearblue monitor babe..and you'll never have this problem..honest! it takes the stress out of things as it reads everything for you and it easily spells out when your fertile/ about to ov and ov itself! Its great stuff.

Just wanted to add also, depending on your cycle it will start to ask for sticks at cd6 so there;s no way you can miss ov (provided you have regular cycles)..I have long cycles so mine asks for sticks at cd9. Hope this helps any...

Good luck, hun!! xxx

Hi Nic it is confusing isn't it! FF say that you should go by temps and anything extra is just used to confirm it and you can get a positive on the day of OV as well as the day before! So I'd say it sounds promising for you! Good luck xx

Well it would definately be nice if I could get one two days before! As I thought FF recorded CD11 as my Ovulation day when i entered in this morning's temp. We BD's about 5pm on CD9 so i think we have a slim chance. It was the first time in ages I didn't stick my legs in the air, and I got up and went to the loo instead of holding it in for like half an hour lol. Don't get me wrong, it was great not to worry about getting a pillow under me bum and all that jazz but Grrrr!!! It just had to be early didn't it - bloody typical
