By far TMI but I need some help

Riiiight... let's see. Do you ladies remember how I said came and I was all on the way to the whole battle plan? I'm... not so sure anymore.

TMI starting here

It's usually light pink spotting then bright red blood. Not today. There was spotting of a very dark/brownish sort at noon so I concluded it's here especially since I have some huge cramps through the uterus -not usual for me.-

Haven't checked a tampon or looked again till now when I freaked. It looks like it may have even stopped and all there is there is DARK flipping BROWN almost black.

Is this a mc? Should I see a doc if it doesn't return to normal? Help...

Very strange hun, is it still like spotting or more heavier?
Might be an idea to wear a pad just to check what the flow/cm is like.
Brown/black blood is old blood. So not too sure why that would be happening.
When i had my mc's i had very bad cramping and i was bearing down passing clot's.
It may be breakthrough bleeding (don't want to build your hope's up though) I often alway's get breakthough bleeding during the first month of pg when af is due and it's usually pink/brown and last's for around 3 day's.
I would see how you go for a few hours more and if it's not more "normal" then it might be best to see your gp. Sorry i'm not much help, just didn't want to read and run.
Good luck hun

Really not sure hun. The only time I had blood like that was when I ran three months of BCP together and boy did it hurt. If you aren't in pain I wouldn't worry. I've never miscarried so maybe some of those girls who have been unfortunate to do so can confirm, but I think m/c is nearly always painful xx

A couple months ago I was certain it was my month. I never tested however. When AF finally came, it was much like you describe. I thought maybe mine was a m/c too. I was passing a lot of clots too...and it was very painful . I spent most of the day in the bathroom throwing up because of the pain.

I still dont know if thats what it was, or if it was just a bad period. Sorry, I know this isnt much help

I just read about breakthrough bleeding and it is connected to BCP. I was not on BCP, in fact I never took the pill with the exception of maybe back in my teenage days as it was ...trendy.

So it's not that... really don't know what it is still.

Thank you for your ideas ladies, maybe girls with a mc will chime in soon as well.

I guess I'll give it a while and see how it develops...Scary stuff.

Well I do occasionally get brown spotting before a period, usally the day before. So it could just be that. But black... I dunno.
When I mc I spotted for like three days, it was pink and very light. Then followed by contractions and then horrible bleeding. It is painful, I almost pasted out a few times.. so I'm sure it's probably not a mc for you.
I'd wait and see if AF kicks in and if not maybe see the doc or test. Could just be stress related or something. I hope your shows soon if she's gonna.
Good luck.

Thank you, from what I read it's not a mc really. But what the heck is it? If it's just a weird AF then I can live with that, it means I can still do the plan LOL

I'll keep you wonderful gals posted tomorrow with more TMI!

I agree most breakthrough bleeding does occur when on the pill. It also can occur when ttc or when pg. It's not that common but it does happen.
I did a quick search but so far have only came up with this...

http://www.canfp.org/artman/publish/article_170.shtml

I think it's more or less explained in the answer. If it's of no use disregard it. I have lost the will to live at this point. OH is driving me nut's with Bloody guitar hero! lol

P.S Quite a few of us have has some strange spotting this month and not our regular af's. Maybe there is something in the air...
Hope thing's sort themselves out for you

Update is that there's more of the same on the almost black stuff. I'm rather happy that there's something whatsoever, I guess I can retain hope this is afterall!
